Security Dog Handler
We are looking for a qualified and experienced DOG Handler to join our team. The Dog Handler will ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and clients.
Experience:
- Dog Handler certificate
- Valid and in date Grade C PSIRA certificate.
- Clear criminal record.
- Firearm competency.
- A minimum of 1 year working experience in a similar role, ideally within the security environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Report any suspicious activities.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly.
- Enforce company policies and regulations to maintain order.
- Conduct security checks at entry and exit points.
- Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and customers when needed.
- Maintain detailed records of activities, incidents, and observations.
- Responsible for the care & maintenance of the Protection Services Dog Unit.
- Must be willing to work long hours and on Weekend if and when required.
Experience:
- Dog handling: 1 year (Required)
