Job Title: Sales Representative – Wine Farm

Job Overview: As a Sales Representative for Cloof Wine Estate, you will be responsible for driving sales, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting our premium range of wines to distributors, retailers, restaurants, and individual customers. Your passion for wine, paired with excellent sales and communication skills, will help grow our customer base and maintain our brand's reputation for quality. Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals, identify new business opportunities, and expand the market presence of [Wine Farm Name] wines.
Client Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with wine distributors, retailers, restaurants, and hospitality outlets. Manage a portfolio of existing accounts while seeking out new customers.
Product Promotion:
Conduct wine tastings, presentations, and events to promote [Wine Farm Name] wines to potential clients and consumers. Educate clients on the qualities and production methods of our wines.
Market Research & Feedback:
Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and consumer preferences in the wine industry. Provide regular feedback to the sales and production teams on customer needs and product demand.
Sales Reporting:
Track sales performance, provide regular reports on sales activities, and contribute to sales forecasting and planning. Monitor stock levels to ensure timely product availability.
Event Participation:
Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and festivals. Ensure the brand is professionally represented and build awareness of our wine offerings. Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the wine, beverage, or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge and passion for wines, with a WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) certification or equivalent being a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend events as required.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills:
Experience conducting wine tastings or similar promotional activities.
Existing network of contacts within the wine or hospitality industry.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
