Sales Representative

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan and work towards sales targets and budgets.
  • Oversee all new clients towards adhered service delivery.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the agreed period.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
  • Analyse the territory /market potential and track sales and status reports.

  • Supply management with required reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, etc.
  • Potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.
  • Serve as a link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
  • Resolve customer issues and problems and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers promptly.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of critical customer needs and requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional products or services to existing customers
  • Identify stores and assist in arranging and executing promotions in these stores
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Maintain relationships with customers
  • Conduct market research and product analysis of market trends along with the team
  • Conduct pricing research and competitive reviews from time to time, and keep in touch with market trends
  • Liaise with Key people within the organization to drive sales
  • Support and liaise with telesales where necessary
  • Analyse the territory/markets’ potential, track sales, and status reports
  • Supply management with feedback on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Identify stores and assist in arranging and executing promotions in these stores
  • Timeously give feedback on the planned actions for the week
  • Timeously give feedback on the actions taken the previous week
  • Timeously hand in fuel claims, correct and detailed
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric
  • Computer literate
  • 5+ Years Proven work experience as Sales Representative
  • Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing or relevant qualification
  • Able to travel to meet with customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Own Vehicle
  • FMCG experience
