Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients through regular follow-ups, presentations, and meetings.
- Sales Development: Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and close sales for HVAC systems and services.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct site visits to assess customer needs, perform system evaluations, and provide accurate and detailed proposals.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest HVAC technologies, products, and industry trends to offer knowledgeable recommendations.
- Proposal Preparation: Create and present detailed proposals, including cost estimates, system specifications, and project timelines.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms of sales agreements, including pricing and delivery schedules, to secure contracts.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service, address any post-sale issues, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the installation and service teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) required; Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, products, and industry standards.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- Must be able to perform site assessments, which may include lifting and carrying equipment.
