OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Drive the sales process in the Sales department and assist the Sales Representatives throughout the sales process to increase the sales and improve the profitability of the Company; and to assist the Sales Manager as a Personal Assistant on a daily basis. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Grade 12 or a relevant qualification is compulsory.
A degree or national diploma in office administration (or related field) is highly recommended.
2 (Two) years’ experience in contract administration, preferably in a trading and/or office equipment environment is highly recommended.
Minimum of 3 (three) years’ experience in the performance of responsible secretarial and clerical work.
Exposure to customer relations is required.
The ability to use correct business English and Afrikaans (including vocabulary, spelling, grammar and punctuation) is required.
Knowledge of a third indigenous language will enjoy preference.
Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software, preferably MS Word and Excel is highly recommended.
Strong analytical skills (problem solving) and organizational/detail-oriented abilities.
Valid driver’s license & Own transport
