Are you someone who can:
- Manage the project resources (including people, procurement, systems, time and budget) from the initiation of an identified project to the end of the defined project lifecycle or process in order to deliver on project goals and objectives
- Establish, align and manage target and budget goals for the Business Unit, whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency through Projects.
- Manage the project budget and related costs for all assigned projects.
- Manage contracts and invoicing with external companies that are involved in assigned projects.
- Develop a project service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service.
- Enable service delivery through implementing systems and processes to improve service with the most effective projects and implement quality systems and metrics for measuring project success.
- Develop and implement business projects for process enhancements and new processes and products within a Business Unit. Quantify benefits.
- Implement process metrics for measuring efficiency of all key business processes.
- Risk and Issue Management Resource conflict resolution, Scope change management.
- Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analyzing trends and data of all projects.
- Run complex projects/programs from design and development to production.
- Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.
- Plan and schedule project deliverable, goals and milestones.
- Identify and manager project dependencies and critical path.
- Identify business requirements for a project and successfully convert these into resource requirements.
- Track and proactively manage issues, risks, changes and decisions relating to projects.
- Support project teams with production incident management.
- Manage project pipelines, workflows and roadmaps.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Project Management technical training essential
- Certification of PMBOK or Prince II would be an advantage
- At least 5 years Project Management experience in IT environments and business environments
- 3 - 4 year degree preferred (engineering, business or project management)
- Experience in the banking or financial services environment would be an advantage
- Exposure to project delivery using hybrid methodologies.
- Exposure to change management practices would be advantageous.
