Key Performance Areas:
Ensuring robots and PLC driven machinery are correctly programmed to deliver optimally.

Maintain all PLC Devices to ensure customer and company quality standards are met.

Ensure that all PLC backups are done according to the company procedures.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Advanced programming

Advanced PLC Control Systems

Advanced manufacturing concepts

Advanced IT as it relates to manufacturing and PLC control.

Health, Safety and Environmental

Read electronic drawings.

Problem solving abilities.

Communication

Technical ability

Fault-finding ability

Minimum Requirements :
Grade 12 and Qualified Electrician/Millwright or Technical Diploma/Degree

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a PLC Technician within an automotive environment

Extensive working knowledge of PLC programming, Siemens TIA V3-V15 and S7 300. Siemens Safety PLC programming
