On Con Specialist | Craft Liquor Merchants | Johannesburg | Gauteng

Are you a dynamic and results-driven professional with expertise in on-con specialist services? Craft Liquor Merchants is seeking an On Con Specialist to join our team in the beautiful Johannesburg area. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and achieving targets. Your passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and technical know-how will be key to your success.
Responsibilities:

Enhance business acumen by gaining knowledge in order to carry out strategic negotiations with customers.
Understand the listing targets by product prioritization per segment and outlet grading in order to deliver on portfolio selling.
Understand the sales & listing strategy in respect of the sales commission / incentives and how they are calculated.
Grow and maintain the customer base in order to achieve brand sales and listing target.
Develop and report on a strategy to close listing and brands sales gap by analyzing the sales and wine list reports.
Manage call logs and interactions with customers.
Collect and Manage customer information.
Collect and manage accuracy of Brooks list information.
Collect and manage competitor’s activity to output level.
Submit Sales Tool Audits based on all sales tools in trade.
Submit feedback on trade promotion activities & cycle brief execution.
Collect information and report / feedback as per operational or RSM requirements.
Self-manage to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are maintained.
Manage and anticipate change.
Timeously submit operational required documents to respective departments.
Manage and care for company assets issued to you for business use.
Manage travel time, petrol usage and other allowances within the company standard.
Timeously submit all expense reports.
Timeously submit Trade Support Allowance Document.

Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 (Diploma relating to Sales, Marketing, Hospitality management or Food and Beverage is advantageous).
2 – 3 years sales and merchandising experience in a related FMCG environment.
PC proficient (MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
Driver’s license code 10/14.
Own car vehicle.
