We are a "stepping stone" shop, small, but have helped so many people find bigger and better places under the sun. We are sorry to see our last staff leave us, but are excited to see them move forward in life! Thank you for your excellent work and time with us!

KIOSK OPERATOR AT POP&CANDY IN ZEVENWACHT MALL
We are looking for a hardworking, energetic and friendly person who can work well with people/clients/children. No specific skill set is required, just a positive and friendly attitude. Must be a team player! Training will be provided.
We need people with passion who want to achieve something in life. This is an entry level position for people who have not had the best opportunities in life and needs a stepping stone, or someone who just started fresh out of school looking for work, or even students looking to make a few Rand on the side. We want to see our staff move forward in life, but we also need you to be able to work hard for what we want. If you are willing to go the extra mile, we will want to walk it with you.
Responsibilities:
Sales, cash handling, making products (candyfloss, popcorn, slushies, etc), stock take, cleaning & maintenance, customer service, stock take, etc.
It is a very good "all rounder" position and gives you the opportunity to add a lot of different aspects to your CV to build it up nicely!
Standard working hours of the mall in which our shop is located, it is RETAIL HOURS SO PLEASE BE AWARE.
Mon-Sat: 9am - 8pm
Sat-Sun: 9am - 7pm (19:00)
Work rotation: 1 Day on, 1 Day off. (Depends on how schedules are set, free to rotate with fellow staff)
General working days a month: 12-15
General hours per week: 45-50 (same as 8-5 jobs)
Location: Pop&Candy Kiosk, Jet Court, Zevenwacht Mall
Payment: Will be discussed if invited for interview.
Benefits: Optional Health4Me - Momentum (Half company-paid, half self-paid)
Please note that public transportation may be a problem after 19:00 / 7pm and it is preferable to have your own transportation / live nearby.

- Do you understand and accept the retail hours we described?
- Do you understand that there is no public transport at the end of the business day and you will need your own private transport of some sort to get home? We do not provide transport, and taxis are not available by the time we close shop. Do you have your own transport or can arrange private transport?
- Average salary will be between R250-R450 per day depending on targets and commissions earned x 12-15 days a month. Please work out what your average monthly could potentially be. Do you understand and accept this?
