Job description
Responsibilities:
Keyword research - assist with optimising website content and content briefs based on basic keyword research
On Page Optimisation - write meta data, meta descriptions, SEO titles, internal links implementation and image alt texts
Technical SEO - basic understanding and familiar with assisting with some fixes like 404's and 301 implementations
CMS experince - experience in publishing on Word Press or other CMS's e.g. like content blogs and basic landing pages
Reporting - created or assisted with basic monthly SEO reports to monitor performance and identify gaps and successes
QA website updates
Requirements:
1 - 2 years relevant experience
Google Analytics G4 - fair understanding
Google Search Console - Good understanding
Google Trends - Good understanding
Screaming Frog - Good understanding
SEO tools - SEMRush, SEOMonitor, Ahrefs
Google Algorithm and Google updates - keep up to breast and have a good understanding of latest Google updates and best practices
Minimum requirements
Matric/Grade 12
1 - 2 years relevant experience
