The Junior IT Technician will provide technical support and assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist with network maintenance, and support end-users with their technical needs. This role offers a great chance to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment while working closely with experienced IT professionals. Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including computers, printers, and peripherals.
Perform routine system and network monitoring to ensure optimal performance and security.
Assist with software installations, updates, and patches.
Document and track technical support requests and resolutions using the IT ticketing system.
Support IT projects and initiatives as needed.
Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Related field, or equivalent work experience.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, mac OS, Linux) and common software applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Prior experience in an IT support role or relevant internships is a plus.
