Position: Junior Field Guide
Location: Big Five Game Reserve, Waterberg, South Africa
Salary: Competitive package with accommodation and one meal per day (plus tips, bonuses, and professional development opportunities)

What You'll Do:
Lead exhilarating safaris, game drives, and walking tours through the Big Five reserve
Provide engaging, safe, and informative experiences tailored to guest interests
Assist with lodge maintenance, including groundskeeping, basic repairs, and housekeeping support
Contribute to dining services, including setup, serving, and clearing tables
Educate guests on conservation, wildlife, and local cultural and historical insights

What You Need:
FGASA Level 1 qualification or higher
Valid First Aid certification and PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
Minimum of 1 year guiding experience in a Big Five reserve
Knowledge of local flora, fauna, and ecosystem dynamics
Excellent communication skills; English fluency required (additional South African languages are a bonus)

Desirable Skills:
Experience in lodge operations or hospitality
Basic maintenance and handyman skills
Passion for wildlife conservation and eco-tourism
