Requirements for the Field Guide

Active Guiding experience, on a Big 5, 5-star reserve.
-
Excellent communications and entertaining skills
-
Team-Player who feels well being part of small team of rangers
-
Overall responsibility to ensure a high-quality bush experience to assigned guests
-
Prepared to help in other areas of the lodge, especially in maintenance, if required
Requirements for the Front of House/ Reservationist
-
Previous experience in Reservations, Admin, and Front Office responsibilities for a 5-star lodge
-
Computer literate: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Panstrat, Reservation systems.
-
Excellent communications – in person and via email/ telephone
-
Handling guest and travel partner queries in a positive manner
-
Previous concierge duties
-
Clean track record for accepting payments and managing payment requests.

Previous month end experience
-
The abilities to look beyond a formal job description and want to work and support your team mates.
