Qualification: Diploma Salary: Negotiable Calculating and processing employee’s salaries and wages on VIP Sage accurately and on time Absenteeism Record Keeping & Taking:Maintain accurate records of employee attendance and absence.Monitor absenteeism trends and report findings to management Processing Annual Leave Applications Daily:Manage and process requests for annual leave promptly Coordinate leave schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.Initiating Disciplinary Hearings:Assist in conducting disciplinary hearings as per company policies.Document proceedings and outcomes of disciplinary actions.Administering the Disciplinary Code of the employer Daily:Ensure consistent application of disciplinary procedures and policies.Guide managers on disciplinary matters.Dealing with Pay Queries:Address and resolve employee inquiries to payroll and benefits.Coordinate with finance department to resolve payroll discrepancies.Confirmation of Employment: Respond to requests for employment verification and references.Prepare and issue confirmation of employment letters as required.Unemployment Insurance and Salary History Record-Keeping:Manage documentation related to unemployment insurance and salary history for former employees.Issue UI19, Salary Schedule & UI 2.7 to ex-employees.Ensure timely issuance of required documents.Organize and facilitate regular staff meetings and HR-related training sessions.Communicate HR policies, procedures, and updates to employees.Collection of ID Documents, & Personal Details, etc:Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. Safeguard confidential employee information.Provide basic aid assistance on-site as needed.Complete documents for workplace injuries, e.g. Completing WCA (IOD)Registering Employees on the Payroll System/clocking systems:Input new hires into the payroll and timekeeping systems.Monitor and ensure the accuracy of employee time and attendance records.Check that the Correct Hours Are Captured on the Payroll System:Review and verify hours worked by employees.Rectify any discrepancies in payroll records promptly.Leave Input Administer and manage various types of employee leave requests (e.g., sick leave, vacation).Maintain leave balances and records.Printing/Emailing Payslips:Distribute employee payslips accurately and securely.Provide support for election payslips delivery systems.Handling Cash Wages as Required:Manage cash payments to employees in compliances with company policies and regulations.Fix Missed Punches on Uni-Clox Address and correct any missed clock-in/out entries promptly.Ensure accurate recording of employee work hours.Email PAYE & UIF Submissions:Prepare and submit PAYE and UIF (unemployment insurance) contributions accurately and on time.
