Food & Beverage Team Leader / Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure the highest standards of food presentation for both à la carte orders and buffets.
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring they are promptly seated and attended to.
- Ensure accurate and timely order-taking, with special attention to VIP guests.
- Maintain a keen awareness of the overall service experience in the restaurant, following up with every table.
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and care, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Supervise guest bill settlements to ensure accuracy.
- Regularly inspect the restaurant for any maintenance needs and submit requisitions.
- Oversee the daily mise-en-place setup to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness standards in the restaurant, both inside and outside, and ensure staff are presentable.
- Manage reservations in line with the Reservations policy, confirming all bookings.
- Ensure the restaurant and staff are fully prepared for service at the agreed times.
- Train and mentor junior staff on the job to enhance service delivery.
- Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven knowledge of food and beverage operations.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
