Responsibilities:

Staff Management:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the dining room staff.
- Train new employees on restaurant policies, practices, and procedures.
- Schedule shifts and assign duties to servers, hosts, and support staff.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as necessary.
- Address employee conflicts and conduct disciplinary procedures when needed.

Customer Service:
- Greet guests and ensure they receive prompt and personalized service.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns and complaints in a professional manner.
- Ensure dining experience meets or exceeds guest expectations.
- Monitor table turnover and manage reservations to maximize seating efficiency.

Operational Oversight:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of dining supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of orders.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation.

Team Leadership:
- Foster a positive work environment based on teamwork and mutual respect.
- Motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate daily specials, events, and service expectations.
- Proven experience as a restaurant manager or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced dining environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and industry best practices.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High school certificate or equivalent; degree/diploma in Hospitality or related field is a plus.
- Certification in food hygiene and safety.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Salary range varies based on experience and location.
- Fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with customers and staff.
- Potential for stressful situations requiring calm and effective decision-making.
