Executive Housekeeper - Hoedspruit
5* Lodge close to Hoedspruit is looking for an Executive Housekeeper.
Responsibilities include:

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail in guest accommodation
- Maintain high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail in all guest areas
- Ensure that maintenance service requirements are recorded and reported immediately
- To supervise and control the laundry operation in accordance with established methods
- Control housekeeping expenditure
- Purchasing and price control to enable stock counts to be calculated at current prices
- Monitor stock control systems of personal bars in guest’s rooms, linen, guest’s amenities and cleaning materials
- Monthly stocktake of personal bars in guest’s rooms, housekeeping consumables and linen
- Price updates, GRV’s and Budget control
- Management of the Housekeeping Team.
- Assisting at Front of House during guest’s arrivals or departures or Lodge Site Inspections
- Hosting of Guest
- Minimum 2 -3 years Housekeeping Management experience in a 5* boutique operation or Big 5 reserve with in a similar lodge environment
- Budget & Stock Control Experience
- Room Division or Front of House Experience
- Hospitality and Service training experience
- Computer literate
- Literacy and Numeracy skills
- Fluent in English (speak, read and write);
- Excellent literacy skills (writing of emails, viewing web pages;
- Strong People skills
- Strong guest focus to ensure guest expectations are exceeded
- Flexibility – adapt successfully to changing situations and environments
- Attention to detail
- Proactive person with well-developed concept of the importance of providing a world-class guest experience
- R12-14K - negotiable depending on experience and qualifications;
- Live-in position with meals on duty
- Pension fund
- Staff Lodge Nights
- Work cycle: 21 days on / 7 days off
- 15 Days annual leave.
