We are looking for qualified cooks to provide catering services to in Mafikeng. Successful candidates will sign a 1 year contract with possible renewal.
Duties & Responsibilities
Pay: R4 600,00 - R5 000,00 per month

- Prepare all the ingredients for the day as per menu's daily requirements.
- Portioning.
- An innovative approach to food preparation.
- Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients.
- Cleaning all cutlery and crockery.
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
- Maintain a clean environment in and around the food preparation area.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly,
- Check the quality of the ingredients.
- Ensure that the storerooms are always kept clean.
- Handle and maintain the fridge.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Ensure that the food sample sheet is filled correctly.
- Ensure that food samples are kept in the fridge as per health authorities’ requirements.
- Prepare salad dressings, dips and sauces.
- Control and minimize waste.
- Weigh, measure, mix and prepare ingredients according to the recipes.
- High school certificate/matric.
- Qualification in food preparation / culinary arts.
- Computer Literacy Certificate.
- 3-5 years experience after graduation (please provide contactable references).
- Food safety qualification will be an added advantage.
Pay: R4 600,00 - R5 000,00 per month
Education:
- Certificate (Preferred)
- Food industry, catering, cooking: 4 years (Required)
