Checkpoint Firewall Administrator
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer with a strong background in Checkpoint firewall administration to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining Checkpoint firewalls, along with relevant Checkpoint certification. As a key part of our security infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting firewall solutions to ensure the integrity and security of our network. Checkpoint certification is mandatory and should be attached to your application.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining Checkpoint firewalls, along with relevant Checkpoint certification. As a key part of our security infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting firewall solutions to ensure the integrity and security of our network. Checkpoint certification is mandatory and should be attached to your application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Checkpoint firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Configure and monitor firewall rules, policies, and settings to safeguard network traffic.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related issues, providing timely solutions.
- Collaborate with the security team to implement best practices and stay updated with security patches.
- Conduct regular audits of firewall configurations and logs to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Perform upgrades and maintenance of Checkpoint firewalls as needed.
- Provide support and documentation for firewall configurations and network security solutions.
- Assist with network security planning and risk assessments.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Checkpoint firewall administration.
- Checkpoint certification (e.g., CCSA, CCSE) is required.
- Strong understanding of network security concepts and protocols.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving network security issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with other firewall platforms and network security tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with IT security compliance and regulatory standards.
