Assistant Lodge Management Couple | Madikwe
JD Specialized Recruitment is partnering with a 5* Exclusive Private Game Lodge in the Madikwe area to recruit a dynamic and energetic ASSISTANT LODGE MANAGEMENT COUPLE to join their team.
The couple will fill a FOH/Reservations and Head Guide role as well as assisting the General Manager in managing the Lodge.

The couple will fill a FOH/Reservations and Head Guide role as well as assisting the General Manager in managing the Lodge.
Combined Requirements & Experience:
- Previous experience in management roles in a 5-star lodge environment essential.
- Knowledge of operational requirements for running a lodge and passionate about the bush and delivering exceptional guest experience experiences.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Well-presented and neat personal appearance
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans, both written & spoken essential.
- Trustworthy, dependable, reliable, and punctual
- Flexible availability and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and lead by example
- Own transport and stable employment history with contactable references
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or equivalent beneficial.
- It is imperative to have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Previous Reservations experience essential, strong administration skills and sound knowledge of Lodge Operations both FOH and BOH.
- Ability to manage Food & Beverage Operations and Housekeeping team.
- Experience with PANHospitality reservations and accounting system or similar PMS’s essential.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills essential.
- Qualified as a somatologist and experienced on a range of treatments would be an advantage but not essential.
- Atleast 5 years plus guiding experience where at least 3 years at a Senior Guide level.
- Completed Trails & FGASA Level 2 or equivalent essential.
- ARH & Rifle proficiency / SAPS Competency Certificate
- Valid Driver’s license, Pr DP and First Aid Level 2 essential
- CATHSSETA /DEAT Registered
- Physically fit, charismatic, and confident
