Assistant Food & Beverage Manager – Cape Town A well-established 4-star hotel in Cape Town is looking for a passionate Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to assist in managing the F&B operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in both restaurant and event management, along with a strong focus on guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the F&B Manager in overseeing daily F&B operations, including the restaurant, bar, and events.
Supervise and coordinate staff schedules to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Manage inventory and stock control, ensuring all outlets are adequately supplied.
Support the planning and execution of events and functions, ensuring seamless coordination.
Monitor guest satisfaction and address feedback promptly.
Implement health and safety regulations across all F&B outlets.
Assist with training and development of F&B staff to maintain service excellence.
Collaborate with the kitchen and events teams to maintain smooth operations.
Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring costs are controlled and revenue targets are achieved.
Requirements:
SA citizen.
Recent experience in F&B management in a 4/5* hotel.
Strong understanding of restaurant and event operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Knowledge of stock control, budgeting, and cost management.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
