COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Grocery Logistics Singapore (GLS) a wholly owned subsidiary of Fair Price Group Supply Chain, is a well-established logistics player in the Fast Moving Consumers Goods (FMCG) segment, incorporated since January 1993. Other than being the key logistics provider for NTUC Fair Price and its subsidiaries, we had serviced the Dairy Farm Group, Royal Ahold Group (since exited from Singapore Markets) and many small supermarket chains since our establishment.

DESIGNATION : Warehouse Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Overview:

• Ensure proper receiving, putaway, replenishment to pick locations and issuance of goods.
• Perform proper record-keeping and control of stock movement
• Assist in the return of damaged goods
• Perform good housekeeping; ensure safe practices and orderliness of the warehouse; as well as carry out periodic cycle counts and annual stocktake

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in quality check / control of perishable food (eg. fruits, vegetables etc) in a warehouseor distribution centre environment.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Can-do attitude and self-motivated individual
• Good communication skills.
• Prior hands-on experience in warehousing and/or QC related platforms/system modules.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Proven ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklift and reach truck.
• Has a valid forklift license.
• Open to working in a cold room environment and carry heavy load if required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

OTHER INFORMATION

• Working hours: Able to work any 6 days a week including weekends and public holidays; rotating shifts (eg. 7am - 3:20pm)
