DESIGNATION : Technical Support Engineer - AS400
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle day-to-day incident and problem management for Retail Banking & Cards, including Core Banking, ATM Card, 3DS Authentication, FAST, and electronic banking channels.
- Provide production incident support and handle inquiries from business users, operational users, and customers via the contact center.
- Run small initiatives with peers and production managers.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement achievements by analyzing current demand trends of production incidents and providing recommendations for demand reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Act as a coordinator for different teams, including Problem Resolution and Incident Management.
- Perform analysis on production incidents to reduce demand and improve efficiency.
- Efficiently handle problems and provide timely resolutions.
- Critically examine requirements and understand operations and new application systems.
- Create and modify procedures to solve problems, considering technical capacity and limitations.
- Coordinate Problem and Change management for production systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years working experience on OS/400 and RPG and COBOL programming; prior knowledge with Silverlake core retail banking application and banking knowledge will be added advantage.
- Experience in system architecture and design.
- Experience in AS400/i Series database and operation system.
- Experience in IT industry for any platform
- Having good knowledge in domain of Retail Banking & Cards
- Requires superior analytics and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work rotation shift
