Registered Nurse
Responsibilities:
- Performs venipuncture for the collection of blood specimens for dispatch to the laboratory.
- Able to perform ECG on patients.
- Able to perform Vaccinations on patients.
- Able to perform Pap Smear & Vaginal Swab.
- Assist the Doctor with General Consultations.
- Assist with in-clinic procedures and surgical procedures.
- Able to dispense medication/consumables independently.
- Sorts and records all blood specimens collected, and ensures that they are correctly labelled, and dispatched to the Laboratory with accuracy and compliance.
- Administrative tasks include patient registration, sorting medical reports maintaining accurate patient medical records, and scheduling appointments.
- Assist management in improving, identifying, and implementing changes in the work processes of the Phlebotomy and Registered Nursing duties.
- Maintaining the required MOH standards of procedures, policies, and practices, as well as patient care and experience.
- Continuously upgrading nursing skills and nursing techniques.
- Lead, orientate, and guide new Phlebotomist or Nurse.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Superior.
- Diploma / Degree in Nursing
- Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
