The Systems Engineer plans, designs, installs, tests and implements systems in accordance to specifications and service level . He/She performs the necessary system programming and configuration. He/She provides systems related technical advice to customers or project team.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement pro-active steps.
- Gather business or application requirements on the infrastructure.
- Implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Implement facility management standards or best practices.
- Investigate and provide solution for any incident.
- Lead and assist in the development of bids and proposals.
- Manage systems changes through established change request process.
- Monitor and measure the performance and availability of systems.
- Monitor effectiveness of implemented measures.
- Perform system programming and configuration according to requirements.
- Perform the infrastructure requirement analysis and design.
- Provide regular status updates to relevant parties.
- Provide systems related technical advice to customers and project team.
- Test systems according to specifications and service level.
