Job Purpose
The IOL Specialist is responsible to achieve target sales of in-line products within budgets for the designated territory.
- To deliver the team performance contract and individual performance plan to meet or exceed sales target within agreed budgets
- To increased usage for promoted products in all relevant accounts
- To prepare and implement account development and territory business plans
- To improve clinical sales and marketing knowledge of promoted and competitor products
- To maintain an up to date knowledge of the health provision environment
- To identify and develop key opinion leaders to increase product usage, gain formulary acceptance and product endorsement
- To update and maintain sales tracking systems to maximise effectiveness on territory
- Other duties as and when assigned
Key Performance Indicators
- Fulfilment of agreed sales targets for the Country geographical region
- No. of calls and contacts with Partner & Grow (as per designation in SFDC) customers
- Achievement of designated KPIs in SFDC and Pitcher
Education:
Minimum: Diploma in Medical Technology & Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Optometry or related field. Other diploma background may be considered based on relevant experience to the role.
Preferred: University Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Optometry or related field. Other education background may be considered based on relevant experiences to the role.
- At least 2 years of sales experience, sales experience in Medical device industry is preferred
- Able to work in operating theatres during surgeries
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to liaise with staff at all levels in an effective and efficient manner
- Able to work independently as well as a team in promoting Company’s products
- Possess positive attitude and goal oriented
- Has good business acumen
