Architect – Commercial and Residential Building Design
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Saudi Arabia for an Architect for Commercial and Residential Building Design projects (Hotels, Plazas, Multi-use complexes). The Architect will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design and site supervision of Commercial and Residential Building Design projects, ensuring the projects are completed within budget and timelines. They will also work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all building codes and regulations.
Responsibilities:
· Provide architectural leadership and expertise throughout projects design lifecycle.
· Collaborate with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, goals, and design aspirations.
· Develop innovative and functional architectural designs that meet project objectives, local codes, and regulations.
· Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and presentations to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.
· Oversee the production of detailed construction documents and coordinate with engineering disciplines to integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
· Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure compliance with design intent, and address any design-related issues that may arise.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 3 years of experience on Commercial and Residential Building Design projects or similar large-scale projects.
· Familiarity with design software (such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Revit) and ability to produce detailed construction drawings.
· Knowledge of Saudi building codes, regulations, and construction standards.
· Understanding the local design specifications for Commercial and Residential Building Design, including standards of MOMRAH, Ministry of tourisms, Sport BLVD, DGDA,..
· Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of architects and engineers.
· Experience in project management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
· Fluency in English is required; fluency in Arabic is a plus.
