We are looking for an experienced Siemens Teamcenter PLM Functional Consultant to join our PLM consulting team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter and a strong understanding of PLM processes. The consultant will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, map them to Teamcenter functionalities, and ensure successful implementation and optimization of PLM solutions. This role involves a mix of business process consulting, functional design, and system configuration, providing the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver high-value solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teamcenter Implementation: Lead and contribute to the implementation and configuration of Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into functional designs.
- Business Process Analysis: Engage with clients to gather and analyze product lifecycle management requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvements and ensuring alignment with Teamcenter capabilities.
- Solution Design: Develop functional design documents, workflows, and data models that meet client-specific requirements and optimize their PLM environment using Siemens Teamcenter.
- Configuration & Customization: Support the development team to Configure Teamcenter modules, such as BOM Management, Document Management, Change Management, and Workflow, to align with business processes.
- Training & Support: Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption of the Teamcenter system and address any functional issues that arise during or after implementation.
- Testing & Validation: Participate in system testing, data migration validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality delivery and system functionality.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project delivery, providing functional expertise, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams (developers, system administrators) to ensure seamless integration between functional requirements and technical solutions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Siemens Teamcenter PLM as a functional consultant.
- Strong understanding of PLM processes such as product development, configuration management, BOM management, Workflow Designer, T4EA, T4S, RESTful Api and change management.
- Proven experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional designs.
- Proficiency in configuring and implementing Siemens Teamcenter modules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of data migration and integration with ERP systems using T4EA, T4S. Knowledge of GS/BGS functionality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
- Experience with Agile project methodologies.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter Active Workspace, Teamcenter Reporting Analytics, or Manufacturing Process Planning MPP is a plus.
- Experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, or industrial equipment is a plus
