The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our product portfolio, including identification tags (both mandatory and voluntary), veterinary pharmaceutical products (topical products, antibiotics), and the ovine pharmaceutical portfolio. The Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving or exceeding sales objectives in the assigned territory, building and maintaining business relationships with targeted customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The main customer base includes governmental veterinarians, veterinarian pharmacy stores, and ovine breeders associations. The role requires close collaboration with Key Account Managers in farm channels, the technical managers team, and the monitoring of key accounts.

Sales Target:
- Achieve or exceed sales objectives in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain business relationships with targeted customers to ensure customer satisfaction, trust, and loyalty.
- Manage company resources efficiently.
Customer Management:
- Interact with targeted customers during business hours and scientific meetings in a meaningful and relevant manner, tailored to individual customer needs.
- Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty to company products.
- Establish long-term professional relationships with customers to become the trusted reference in farm management.
Territory Management:
- Analyze and prioritize business needs and opportunities in the target customer groups and for individual customers.
- Develop action plans per target customer group and individual customers based on pre- and post-call information, market research data, and targeting experience.
- Utilize CRM and other tools, market research data, and targeting experience to develop territory action and call plans.
Administrative Tasks:
- Perform administrative tasks in a timely manner, such as encoding call activities and post-meeting notes in the CRM system, expense reports, adverse event reports, etc.
- Monitor monthly sales performance and adjust activities based on identified gaps vs. target.
- Responsible for managing and utilizing company assets and resources assigned, including car, mobile phone, PC, promo budget, etc.
Teamwork:
- Collaborate with key account managers, technical managers from the biopharma team, and technical team members.
- Provide relevant and timely feedback to management on the local market environment, competition, and own activities.
- Collaborate closely with the manager on strategic and tactical aspects of monitoring solutions based on expertise and field intelligence.
- Maintain a high level of professional competence by continuously updating knowledge in relevant areas through training and sharing best practices.
Compliance:
- Ensure all activities are in line with compliance and adhere to the company's code of conduct.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales and customer relationship management.
- Knowledge of the sheep farming, dairy and beef farming industry and related products.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with key account managers, technical managers, and technical team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and adherence to compliance guidelines.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 2 years field sales experience within the Animal Health industry or related industry
- Demonstrated motivation and focus on achieving measurable, tangible result
- Competent use of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and in IT technology in general
- Excellent communication skills
- Medium level of English language (must understand and express him/herself verbally and in written)
- Willingness to keep learning
- A team player, but also able to work autonomously in the field
- Ability to travel in the region
