Sales and Product Manager of Engineered Materials

Permanent employment - remote position / Bucharest, Romania
As the Sales and Product Manager of Engineered Materials, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strong customer relationships within the engineering materials sector, as well as providing technical support for the sales team in the East Area.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understand their needs, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, assess the competitive landscape, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate opportunities to expand market presence in multicultural territories, including new customer segments, geographic regions, and industry verticals.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technological advancements in engineering materials to effectively promote and sell company products.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts, track sales performance, and generate regular management reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to support sales efforts, address customer requirements, and optimize business processes.
  • Budget Management: Manage sales budgets, expenses, and resources effectively.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the engineering materials or manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across cultures and languages. English, an advanced level is required.
  • Results-oriented mindset and ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers more than 60% of the time.
