Position Summary The Demand Marketing Programs Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing and executing demand programs that focus on new buyers in new and existing accounts.
The postholders advises the demand strategy and has the operational responsibility for demand program objectives, including the activation (acquisition), validation (nurture) and acceleration of demand. This role owns the collection, creation, and distribution of demand generation best practices and works with field and central marketers to apply them internally across all regions. You will often have the hands-on responsibility for managing outside agency and vendor contracts and relationships. This role supports marketing leadership and works directly with sales, field marketing, account-based marketing, marketing operations as well as global program teams.
What you'll do? As a key team player, your responsibilities include:
Works with marketing teams to develop demand marketing program strategies that supports demand pipeline and revenue impact
Optimizes and standardizes demand program implementation processes across the global organization
Serves as the key stakeholder contributing to Vertiv’s overall campaign framework for demand marketing programs
Works to determine demand marketing program metrics and how to measure against objectives to gauge success
Works closely with the digital marketing team to ensure alignment on key messages, goals, and overall experience
Collaborates with the demand center and/or field marketing to ensure a cohesive creation, execution, and testing/optimization strategy exists to increase engagement
Collaborates with the digital team on acquisition and engagement demand programs, and ensures final tactic selection is appropriate for program design
Partners with portfolio marketing to identify audience requirements and provides insight into what is and isn’t working to drive future requirements
Plans the best mix of integrated inbound and outbound tactics, including offline and digital
Engages proactively with sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of acceleration demand marketing programs
Identifies and creates a testing approach for demand marketing program pilots
Communicates with and educates marketing leadership about demand marketing programs
Manages demand programs and inputs into the selection of agencies and third-party vendors
Documents and communicates/distributes best practices for demand marketing program implementation across the organization, including recommendations for improvements
Serves as the key stakeholder and evangelist for testing and optimization, championing data-driven risk taking by demand marketers

Strong understanding of digital marketing principles
Experience of ABM (account-based marketing)
Experience in the design and execution of demand marketing programs with a measurable ROMI
Detail oriented and self‐starter with strong written and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of new tools in digital experience and demand marketing, along with established tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and social media platforms
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Minimum expectation of a Bachelors degree OR equivalent education/experience
Team player with positive “Can‐do” attitude
Great communication skills with enthusiastic personality
Ability to manage complex projects, often involving remote teams across multiple geographies and time zones
