Challenging projects for national and international clients in the manufacturing sector (e.g., chemical & pharmaceutical industry, consumer goods, minerals and metals)

You will be part of an international team of ca. 25 people with different backgrounds. We support large international companies with their daily challenges related to product stewardship and sustainability. Role accountabilities: We are looking for a (eco)toxicologist with interest for working in a regulatory context. Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
You support in human health / environmental risk assessments and the preparation of registration dossiers. Tasks can be related to data gathering, data gap analysis, study monitoring, data quality evaluation, IUCLID entry, building of endpoint coverage strategies (testing, weight of evidence, read across, (Q)SAR modelling), hazard assessment, use description, development of exposure scenarios etc.;
You assist multinational clients in developing regulatory compliance strategies (e.g., on REACH, CLP/GHS, Biocides, nanoparticles etc.);
Assist in other projects where input of a risk assessor is needed (interdisciplinary projects, policy studies);
You collaborate with our European team of experts in product stewardship. You are responsible for the quality of your work, and sensitive to agreed timelines and budget. You communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders involved.
Qualifications & Experience:
Higher degree or Ph D in biology, (eco)toxicology, environmental fate or chemistry, or other relevant education;
Some experience in human / eco-toxicology and/or risk assessment and/or experience with metal risk assessments is an asset;
Experience with European product regulations and/or EU Green deal;
Strong interpersonal skills and a flexible mindset, always focusing on the best solutions for the client;
Eager to learn, fluent in communication, interested in the impact of chemicals to human health and the environment, sense of responsibility, happy to work in a team;
Well organized with strong analytical skills;
English is the most important working language in this team, fluency in at least one other EU language is assumed.
