Automotive Ethernet
Automotive Ethernet is the new standard for in-vehicle communication. Scalable, secure, and Quality of Service-oriented Ethernet will be the backbone of future autonomous cars. NXP provides a large portfolio of microprocessors and microcontrollers with Ethernet capabilities, controllers, and offloading accelerators all equipped with software solutions maximizing the possible use cases.

In our Software teams, we develop drivers for a broad range of operating systems (Linux, QNX, Autosar OS, Free RTOS, Zephyr OS, etc.) for Ethernet controllers, we develop Firmware for NXP networking accelerators, we develop a networking stack for NXP AVB/TSN toolbox, we develop production-ready software. We are the Ethernet team.

You will have the occasion to get in contact with different NXP Automotive teams (solution teams, hardware designers, customers engineers, etc.), give feedback and propose solutions.
Ethernet Software Architect
You will play an important part in definition of the future automotive SW products. This job is for a software architect with experience in embedded systems and a passion for networking – preferably Ethernet, or relevant automotive buses, or industrial background. As part of your role, you would be responsible for Architecture specification and Detailed design, you would lead the technical discussions and decisions. The successful candidate will work closely with program managers, marketing and product owners to define the project technical scope.

Contract: This is a fulltime position with a permanent contract

Ethernet Software Architect

- Design of Ethernet stack SW architecture for automotive microcontrollers
- Drive implementation of professional Networking stack SW
- Collect and analyze customer specific use cases and stories
- Provide support to our customers
- Follow software development process and quality standards
Your profile:
- University degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Control or Computer Engineering
- Embedded software design experience
- Knowledge and experience in networking – preferable Ethernet
- Experience with Automotive is advantage
- Experience with software development process and quality standards is advantage
- Pragmatic person with own proactivity to solve the incoming issues, high independency level
- Willingness and ability to learn new stuff, trends
- Team player to keep excellent team spirit and information sharing Good level of English and communication
