Embedded Software Engineer Aeronautics
Context:
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering Services business line in Craiova, Embedded Software department. This organizational unit contributes to the development of on-board and industrial systems with strong real-time and operational safety constraints as well as to their operational implementation integrating safety concepts.Your mission:
You are involved in the aeronautical activities for development and verification of flight control, digital regulation systems, onboard computers (braking, engine, steering, etc.) equipping planes such as the A320, A350, A380 or Dassault Falcon. Depending on your skills and interests, you will be involved in the following tasks:- Design reengineering.
- Unit testing.
- Integration / Validation testing (simulators, test bench).
Technical requirements and environment:
- Logic design (e.g. Simulink).
- Basic knowledge of C language.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite.
- Able to operate and develop on Windows / Linux platforms.
- +2 years’ experience in using version control systems (e.g. SVN, Git) is a plus.
- +2 years’ experience in using bug tracking system is a plus (e.g. Mantis, Jira).
- Knowledge of scripting languages is a plus (e.g. python, perl, tcl, bash).
Profile:
With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Automatics, you have at least 2 years’ experience in embedded software development or testing. Good communication skills, read and write in French and/or in English are a must.Rigorous, organized, and enthusiastic, your spirit of initiative and your interpersonal skills will enable you to successfully carry out the missions entrusted to you.
