We are seeking an experienced and motivated Controlling Manager to lead and oversee our Controlling and Reporting teams. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing budgets, monitoring costs, preparing financial reports, and supporting management in strategic decision-making processes. You will drive efficiencies in financial operations and ensure that our controlling procedures are both standardized and simplified.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic goals and financial targets.
Monitor and control local costs, identify opportunities for cost savings, and drive efficiency improvements while maintaining operational effectiveness.
Prepare accurate, timely financial reports including variance analysis and financial performance explanations for management.
Support management in decision-making, risk identification, and the implementation of company strategies within Controlling.
Oversee and improve controlling procedures, ensuring they are standardized, simplified, and effectively implemented.
Manage a team of direct reports, reviewing objectives, action plans, and team performance evaluations.
Develop individual development plans for direct reports and coach, motivate, and mentor your team.
Participate in company wide Finance initiatives, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and coverage of all services.
Translate organizational goals into actionable steps for the company, ensuring alignment with service agreements and operational KPIs.
Takes responsibility for allocating respective resources, ensuring that all services are fully covered all time.
Develops and monitors service and operational level agreements and other KPI’s and aligns on appropriate actions if figures are not met.

Managerial Responsibilities:

Manage, coach, and develop employees within the Business Unit.
Monitor service levels, operational agreements, and KPIs, taking action when necessary to meet targets.
Actively participate in Finance programs and initiatives across the company.
Ensure proper allocation of resources to cover all services at all times

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Controlling or Audit.

Experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) is an advantage.
Proven ability to manage controlling and reporting teams.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports.
Leadership and team management skills with experience in performance evaluation and development planning.
