What can you expect?
Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines, ensuring that all outstanding invoices are collected in a timely manner;
Research and resolve any receivables discrepancies by reconciling the carrier’s statements with the evidences of policies recorded in the internal system;
Maintain the direct communication with carriers and clarify any outstanding collection issues regarding unbilled revenues;
Generate and analyze ageing analysis;
Prepare, reconcile and analyze all revenue, deferred revenue, accounts receivable, bad debts reserve and revenues accruals;
Responsible for AR bank transactions reporting and the reconciliation of bank accounts and fiduciary accounts;
Responsible for booking the invoices issued in the Accounting system, centralize the supporting documentation for fiduciary payments and deliver it for payment processing.
Support local FP&A with any AR related matters like performing actual vs. prior periods and Plan / forecast revenues analysis and provide explanations for any variations; assist FP&A in Budget and Forecasts revenues projections if needed;
Ensure any ad-hoc reporting that might be required is delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
What we would want you to have:
University Education in Economic field;
At least two years of experience in a Finance/Accounting department, where the role covered reconciliations, invoice processing, internal and/or external reports preparation;
Experience in Finance/Accounting insurance field will be an advantage;
Computer proficient, very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel is a must);
Knowledge of Insurance accounting requirements will be a plus;
Hard-working, organized, with a good self-discipline, with initiative;
Team spirit, willing to learn new things, persuasive;
Fluent in English.
