About our client
Our client is a leading investment group with operations across the Middle East, Africa and Europe with headquarters in Doha, Qatar. Its three business lines are investment banking, asset management, and principal investments which covers real estate, credit, and equity investments. This position is in their investment banking line as a VP focused on M&A advisory, DCM, ECM and credit. What the job involves
The VP will lead in sourcing, evaluating and executing transaction opportunities in Qatar. The individual will support the team on development of deal pitches, transaction structuring and execution across product lines. Work will involve research, modelling, valuation and working with clients.

The VP will lead in sourcing, evaluating and executing transaction opportunities in Qatar. The individual will support the team on development of deal pitches, transaction structuring and execution across product lines. Work will involve research, modelling, valuation and working with clients.
- Supporting the team lead with business development and execution of transactions in Qatar
- Performing and supervising the construction of detailed financial models to evaluate opportunities and analyse transactions
- Interact extensively with company management and intermediaries to garner relevant information on transactions
- Perform industry analysis, company valuation and develop an investment appraisal to present to the senior team
- Execute transactions with accuracy and act as a mentor to junior team members
- Transaction experience in investment banking in the GCC region
- Extensive experience in deal execution and the ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously
- Arabic speaking candidates are preferred but not mandatory
- Strong financial modelling, analysis, and accounting skills
- Generalist, multi-sector investment banking skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related field
