Part Time Fashion Designer
Looking for a part time designer to work on an emerging fashion brand.
For Applicants in Qatar & GCC only.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: QAR1,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
Application Question(s):
- Collaborate with the creative team to research and develop seasonal collections.
- Sketch preliminary design ideas and create detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Select fabrics, embellishments, colors, and styles for each garment or accessory.
- Work with fabric suppliers to source the highest quality materials within budget constraints.
- Adjust designs for production feasibility and liaise with production teams to oversee the creation of prototypes.
- Attend fittings and adjust the designs based on feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest fashion trends and techniques to apply them within the brand’s aesthetic.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Proven experience as a fashion designer with a strong portfolio of previous work.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, and fashion trends.
- Excellent drawing skills and the ability to visualize designs in three dimensions.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
