Daily Operations Management:
Oversee all departments (zoo, lodges, restaurant, agricultural area).
Ensure smooth operations in line with schedules and plans.
Monitor the quality of services provided to visitors and propose improvements as needed.
Staff Management:
Supervise staff across various departments and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Identify hiring and training needs to ensure staff development and effective performance.
Zoo Management:
Oversee the construction and preparation of the zoo and manage its operations.
Ensure proper care of animals and adherence to health and safety standards.
Facility & Visitor Management:
Manage bookings for the lodges and oversee guest services, including restaurant and room service.
Track visitor satisfaction and address complaints or suggestions to enhance their experience.
Budget Management:
Monitor operational expenses and coordinate with the accountant to manage costs and prepare regular financial reports.
Oversee purchases and logistical needs for the farm.
Operational Efficiency Improvement:
Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and increase revenue.
Implement plans to attract more visitors and enhance guest experiences.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all safety standards are maintained throughout the farm for staff, visitors, and animals.
Manage preventative maintenance of facilities and ensure their readiness.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or facility management within tourism or leisure industries.
Experience in managing teams and dealing with visitors.
Skills:
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to manage budgets and analyze financial data.
Effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
Education:
