- Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory changes.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and safety programs.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and management.
- Ensure that all employees are trained on safety procedures and emergency protocols.
- Maintain training records and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Coordinate emergency drills and exercises to ensure preparedness.
- Act as a point of contact for emergency response and coordinate with external agencies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance activities.
- Prepare and submit reports on HSE performance and compliance to management.
- Ensure proper documentation of safety procedures, training, and incidents.
- Monitor safety performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Participate in safety committees and contribute to the development of safety initiatives.
Education:
- Bachelor's (Required)
- Four: 4 years (Preferred)
