Heavy Duty Driver - with Medium Truck Driving License

Job Summary:
The Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently using heavy vehicles. This role requires adherence to safety regulations and maintaining vehicle condition while providing excellent service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Safe Transportation:
Operate heavy vehicles to transport goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain a safe driving record.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
Loading and Unloading:
Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Secure cargo to prevent shifting during transit.
Documentation:
Complete and maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and other required documentation.
Obtain necessary signatures and receipts upon delivery.
Customer Service:
Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on delivery status and addressing any concerns.
Maintain a professional demeanor while representing the company.
Compliance:
Follow company policies and federal regulations regarding transportation and logistics.
Ensure compliance with hours of service regulations and manage time effectively.

Qualifications:

Valid heavy vehicle driver’s license (e.g., CDL or equivalent).
Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with heavy vehicles.
Knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations.
Ability to operate a variety of heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
Strong time management and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

Primarily on the road, with potential long hours and overnight stays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
