Your Responsibilities
● Be the face of Mona Verde: Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they walk in.
● Guide their experience: Present menus, explain dishes and provide tailored recommendations that cater to guests’ tastes and dietary preferences.
● Upsell with flair: Confidently recommend specials and additional menu items to enhance the dining experience.
● Precision in orders: Take accurate food and drink orders using our POS system, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
● Deliver excellence: Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring everything meets Mona Verde’s high standards.
● Create an inviting atmosphere: Assist with table setups and maintain a clean, stylish dining area.
● Handle payments effortlessly: Deliver checks and manage payments efficiently while maintaining positive guest interactions.
● Team player: Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and management to resolve issues quickly and keep service running smoothly.
● Exceed expectations: Go the extra mile to anticipate guest needs, provide personalized service, and ensure their complete satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
● Experience in premium environments: Previous experience in hotels, restaurants, or bars.
● Bilingual skills: Strong proficiency in both English and Portuguese; additional languages are a plus.
● POS system proficiency: Familiarity with point-of-sale software.
● Customer-centric mindset: Passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and staying calm under pressure.
● Adaptability: Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as the business requires.
