We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Science Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering a love for science and helping students develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Deliver engaging science instruction aligned with the IB Science and Cambridge IGCSE curricula.
- Foster a growth mindset, encouraging a love of learning and global awareness in students.
- Differentiate instruction based on students' prior knowledge, adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
- Create an interactive classroom environment, encouraging collaboration, inquiry, and critical thinking.
- Develop students' scientific and problem-solving skills through hands-on activities and technology integration.
- Monitor student progress using assessment data and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Design and deliver lessons that challenge students to connect scientific concepts to real-world applications.
- Ensure student well-being by creating a safe, inclusive environment and fostering strong relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of a high-quality science curriculum.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with teaching strategies and scientific advancements.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A relevant degree in Science or a related field, with experience in international education preferred.
- A valid teaching qualification and experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
- A strong passion for science education, fostering critical thinking and curiosity in students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building effective relationships with students and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset, working well with colleagues.
- A commitment to student welfare and safeguarding practices.
- Proficiency in English and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
