Due to significant company growth, Curaleaf are looking for a HR Generalist to join the team in Iberia. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, and supported by a wider International HR function, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in all aspects of the People Team, playing a crucial part in developing best practices. This role will primarily be split between our 2 offices in Alcochete and Setubal with some travel to Alicante.

Position:
As a HR Generalist with Curaleaf International, you will play a crucial role in the HR function of a rapidly developing company, covering Portugal and Spain. You will ensure all policies and procedures concerning people are carried out correctly and answer any queries related to this across the business. You will play a key part in shaping and maintaining day to day operations, recruitment on/offboarding, learning & development, company culture, employee relations, and performance management. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Ensuring ongoing compliance with company policies and local labour laws
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
Coordinate and manage the full recruitment cycle, including developing and implementing effective strategies to attract top talent
Facilitating a smooth onboarding process and managing an in depth offboarding processes
Supporting employee growth and development by identifying training needs and developing & delivering comprehensive training programs
Acting as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and improving engagement
Supporting the implementation of performance management processes
Assisting managers in setting performance goals and development plans for their teams
Requirements:
This position requires a versatile professional with experience across multiple HR domains, including operations, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee development, and training. As you will cover several regions, you must be able to work from our Portugal office a minimum of 3 days a week, and be willing to travel to Alicante regularly. It is essential you:
Have previous experience as a HR Generalist, preferably in a fast-growing environment
Demonstrate excellent organizational and time-management skills
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have previous experience with HR systems (Cezanne experience would be ideal!)
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion at all times
Are fluent in English and Portuguese. Spanish is a plus!
