The successful Customer Sales Assistant is a flexible, proactive and knowledgeable host, who is always available to support customers and partners, and uses the best skills and in-depth understanding of the company’s products and benefits, with the ability to identify behaviour-influencing motivations, to undermine any obstacles and effectively upsell all the company’s products to the end customer and commercial partners. Given the nature of the position and the company’s operating industry (tourism), the amount of work varies considerably with seasonality - this includes the responsibility of being available for the company to the customer until later hours to the company’s expectations for customer service, and on lower seasons proactively use the company’s resources to find customers to sell, cross-sell and upsell the company’s products to help fill empty seats. Responsibilities – essentially, not exclusive to:
Supporting any incoming customer and partners booking inquiries through Email, Phone, Live Chat and in-person;
Assisting customers and agents with bookings and payment;
Upselling and Cross-selling similar products to customer and agent bookings;
Contacting outbound customers that did not complete their bookings;
Contacting outbound local service providers to help fill empty seats;
Assisting in designated tasks, supporting regular operation.
Requirements:
Schedule Flexibility to work partially from home until later hours;
Good Written and Spoken English and Portuguese, third language is a plus;
EU Driver’s license
