Who you are
When you visit an IKEA store, it is very likely that you will come across co-workers in the customer relations area. These colleagues are responsible for supporting our customers' experience at the beginning and end of their journey through our store. This means they play a very important role in creating a positive feeling for those who visit us.
Have we aroused your curiosity? Good! Let's continue.
At IKEA we believe that everyone has talent. Therefore, we expect our candidates to have:
- Ability to organize and manage stress;
- Sense of responsibility, autonomy and proactivity;
- Confidence in the way they communicate, enjoyment of working as a team and making decisions;
- A flexible and receptive approach to change, with the ability to establish priorities, using time efficiently and productively;
- Good computer knowledge from the user's perspective;
- And knowledge of English, spoken and written, may also be valued.
A day in your life with us
Our Customer Relations department is divided into four areas:
- Småland is the children's space where our customers can leave their children while they shop at IKEA. Therefore, a sense of responsibility and good disposition are essential;
- Cashiers, where we support our customers in the payment process. Here we expect our co-workers to be helpful and empathetic, capable of managing customer frustrations and expectations;
- Customer support with questions you may have after your purchase. Here, it is especially important to present our customers with quick, simple solutions that are good for the customer and for IKEA, transforming a difficulty into an opportunity;
- Services are a very relevant solution to make IKEA more convenient for most people. In this area, we guarantee customer satisfaction and optimization of the experience, with knowledge of our range of products and services.
Together as a team
Inspired by our Swedish roots and humanistic vision, at IKEA we have a unique culture. We believe that all people have value, regardless of any dimension of their identity - diversity is an asset to our business.
We value the spirit of unity and informality. Therefore, it is very likely that you will feel at home here!
We really want to create a better everyday life for our customers. And for our co-workers.
So, these are some of the benefits we offer:
- Co-workers Restaurant: space dedicated to co-workers, with diverse and healthy options, for a complete meal at an affordable price (mouth-watering!)
- Schedules communicated in advance so that it is easier to reconcile work with your personal life (studies, hobbies, work, or even doing nothing...)
- Social and psychological support through the CÖNTIGO program;
- Annual bonus to celebrate the joint effort to grow the business;
- Discounts and benefits in partnerships: gyms, technology, cosmetics, hotels, travel, etc.;
- Opportunities for ongoing online, in-class and on-the-job training to explore your potential.
Working at IKEA is much more than a job.
