Business Intelligence Consultant – Visualization Artist
We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Specialist to join our IQVIA Business Intelligence and Data Science team as a senior BI Consultant (focused on front-end development). This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming the way pharmaceutical drugs are developed and released. You will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions, working closely with different parties to understand their business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.

Principle Accountabilities:
- Your main focus will be situated on the analysis and design of relevant solutions as well as the technical development of these solutions.
- Interface with different parties to understand their business requirements, which you will translate into solutions & applications.
- You will be involved in all phases of the project, from requirement gathering to delivery, as well as defining best practices and building innovative solutions; You are able to demonstrate creativity, flexibility, autonomy and efficiency, within a dynamic, evolving environment.
- You will work as a consultant of IQVIA on the Belgium market
Education, Experience, Soft skills & Specialized Knowledge Required:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree with minimal 4 years of relevant work experience in BI Projects using Power BI.
- Languages: English, (Dutch and/or French are a big plus).
- Experience in gathering and challenging requirements and translating these into a design and/or solution.
- Hands-on front-end development experience in Business Intelligence projects.
- A customer-oriented personality with positive drive and a pragmatic, innovative approach
- High interest in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and interpretation.
- You are curious and pragmatic.
- You are able to work as part of a team or independently.
- You are self-motivated & proactive.
- Stress-resilient with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Any of the following elements are considered as a big plus:
- Affinity with the healthcare sector
- Data modelling skills
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Scorecarding and performance management solutions.
- Knowledge of Qlik Sense, Denodo, Snowflake, SSIS and other BI/DWH Tools
- Working in Agile mode
- General project management skills
