My client, a dynamic mid-sized floating technology provider in the offshore wind space. With operations in the UK, Germany, and Portugal, as well as an expanding client base across Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and the United States, the company is experiencing rapid growth and making a notable impact in the market. They're now seeking a specialist in Business development as they venture further into the Offshore Wind market.

The Role:
As Business Development Lead, you would be responsible for,

Develop and prepare responses to bid requests from global developers.
Support investment-raising activities to promote the growth of the business.
Collaborate with the business development team to strategize and implement growth initiatives.
Engage with stakeholders to promote the company’s innovative technology and its environmental impact.
Participate in market research to identify trends and opportunities in the offshore wind sector.
Contribute to the overall development of early-stage technology and business operations.

The Person:

The ability to understand technical terms and engage in technical discussions with ease.
Proficiency in articulating complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner, tailored to various audiences.
Communication skills, enabling effective engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Capable of developing innovative solutions and workflows in an early-stage, novel technology environment.
Proven experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams, showcasing strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach.
