Transport Management System Specialist

Currently Alfa Laval Kraków is looking Transport Management System Specialist who will be responsible for maintenance and development our TMS system. Company address ul. Zawiła 56, 30 -390 Kraków.
Our expectations:
-
Experience in the development of a Transport Management System
-
Experience in the use of different IT systems (ERP, TMS, or similar),
-
3-5 years of experience from the export company and/or freight forwarding industry – preferably within international business, would be an asset.

Excellent qualifications in English – spoken and written,
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
-
Strong analytical skills and accuracy, problem-solving skills
-
Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
Your responsibilities:
-
Support the LCT’s Operations Department to deliver high-quality service to mainly internal customers (AL sites, AL sales companies, Global Transport Department) but also external (like Freight Forwarders) stakeholders.

Implementing new settings for Forwarders, Shipping points, and improvements into the system to follow Company grow.

Actively work with correlation to operational interfaces, mainly in warehousing and order handling develop and improve optimum processes.

Daily work across integrated Transport Management System environment
-
Managing and conducting implementations of settings for new Users, Forwarders, Shipping Points, and other improvements to the TMS system.

Managing Microsoft Azure Dev Ops assign Features, User stories, and Tasks and actively participating in Daily Stand-up meetings.

Support of daily work in TMS for LCT’s Operations Department aimed at generating optimal consignments.

Initiate, manage, and support problem-solving, improvements, and activities.

Acting as the first and main point of contact for internal customers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders in case of issues within the TMS system.

Analyzing, creating, and maintaining process documentation. Secure standardized work & SOP
-
Participate in ALPS / Lean Six Sigma / 5S and other Operations initiatives within the unit.

Conducting other tasks and instructions related to the ALPS Supply chain assigned by the manager
