Job Title: Test Automation Engineer
Description:
- This position is in new teams in Data Systems where our client is expanding Data Lake and building strong capabilities and Data Marts for enabling data democratization.
- In this role you will work with some of the technologies: Hadoop Platform, Snowflake, Python, SQL, Robot Framework, git, Bash, Jenkins, AWS
- Test complex applications built in Hadoop and Cloud Platforms (Snowflake)
- Implement python libraries as extension for Robot Framework
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for test libraries
- Identify and implement improvements and process automation for day to day tasks/challenges
- Test scenario and test case preparation
- Test data preparation
- Implementing test automation scripts
- Test results analysis and defect reporting
- Release planning and reporting
- 6+ years of development experience with Python
- 6+ years experience with database technologies
- 6+ years experience with GIT
- 3+ years experience with Robot Framework
- 3+ years experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Strong working experience with Linux and bash
- Experience with containerization using Docker
- Knowledge of streaming and queues technologies e.g. KAFKA, IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ
- Working knowledge of Devops
- Knowledge of Big Data concepts, such as Hadoop ecosystem (Cloudera/Map R) including streaming technologies
- Cloud systems (such as AWS, GCP or Azure), Snowflake
